Scribner Road Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school with approximately 500 students in a suburb of Rochester, New York. Our school is committed to maximizing the potential of all students by providing rich learning experiences to promote growth and life - long success. The school community places great emphasis on preparing students for the 21st century. Students are challenged to think critically, experiment, collaborate, and access information while integrating content areas with the arts and technology. Students continue their learning through participation in a variety of after school clubs and activities that include drama, chess, intramurals, and student council. A school-wide character education program (Kids Who Care) fostering caring, integrity, respect, responsibility and self - disipline allows our students to develop into productive, contributing citizens. The staff of Scribner Road Elementary School is committed to providing a memorable educational experience for children and working as partners with all familes to ensure success now and in the future.

 Congratulations Varsity Wrestlers! The Varsity Wrestling Team captured the Section V AA Championship Title on Saturday, Feb. 6th. Leading the way in their respective weight classes were B. Ling, J. The Feb. 10th PRISM Concert and Grand Opening of the new Penfield High School auditorium is officially sold out. For those unable to attend the Feb. 10th concert, a FREE RPO concert is being held for the entire Penfield community at 7:30 pm Saturday, Feb. 20th in the new auditorium. Indian Landing Roof Vote, Tuesday, Feb. 23 The public vote on the Indian Landing roof project is being held from 6 am to 9 pm Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010 in the PHS Gym Hallway. Residents are being asked to consider a proposition to replace a portion of the roof at Indian Landing Elementary School at a cost not to exceed $1,060,000. This project will be funded through $290,00...
