Scribner Road Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school with approximately 500 students in a suburb of Rochester, New York. Our school is committed to maximizing the potential of all students by providing rich learning experiences to promote growth and life - long success. The school community places great emphasis on preparing students for the 21st century. Students are challenged to think critically, experiment, collaborate, and access information while integrating content areas with the arts and technology. Students continue their learning through participation in a variety of after school clubs and activities that include drama, chess, intramurals, and student council. A school-wide character education program (Kids Who Care) fostering caring, integrity, respect, responsibility and self - disipline allows our students to develop into productive, contributing citizens. The staff of Scribner Road Elementary School is committed to providing a memorable educational experience for children and working as partners with all familes to ensure success now and in the future.

 Elementary Conference Day, March 12th There is no school for students in Grades K-5 on Friday, March 12th for an Elementary Parent-Teacher Conference Day. PHS Musical, Beauty and the Beast, March 18-20 The Penfield High School Drama Club will be presenting the musical "Beauty and the Beast" in performances at 7:30 pm Thursday, March 18 through Saturday, March 20 in the new high school auditorium. A 1 pm March 20 matinee is also scheduled. Tickets are $10 at the high school main office or at the door. February Facilities Project Update The February Facilities Project powerpoint update is now available online. Please click on the link below. March 23rd Concert Postponed The Patriotic Celebration Concert, originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 23rd, has been postponed. The concert will be performed as part of the Penfield/Wegmans Music Festival on Saturday, June 5th at Veterans Memorial Park. |
