Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year at Scribner Road Elementary School!

We are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to greet all the little excited and anxious faces of those students who have attended Scribner in the past and others that will experience what makes us a wonderful school, for the first time.

As I begin my second year at Scribner, I find myself reflecting back to last year which brought so much happiness, many unforgettable memories and great relationships with the entire Scribner community. I am thankful for the dedication shown by all staff members and the support shown by Scribner parents. Together, our quality home/school connection has led to great success for our students.

The culture of Scribner brings a healthy mixture of professionalism, nurturing, caring, dedication and collaboration. Our staff is passionate about their work with children and strives to create an environment filled with rich experiences which promote a love of learning for all. This year will continue to bring authentic and meaningful learning experiences that will prepare students for success in the 21st century. In addition, we are very proud of our “Kids Who Care” school-wide character education, fostering caring, integrity, respect, responsibility and self – discipline, thus allowing our students to develop into productive, contributing citizens. There is just so much to celebrate about our school community and it is an honor to be part of it.
