Physical education provides opportunities for all students to achieve the knowledge, skills and values that will develop and enhance their sense of well being and maximize the quality of their lives. This will be accomplished in an active, caring, supportive and non-threatening environment.

We are starting the year off with orientation and cooperative games.  3rd through 5th grades will go to soccer skills in class, and K-1 will will do recess games, locomotor movements, and eye-foot coordination.

Intramurals for 4th and 5th grades are posted on the news pages.  They are starting for the 2011-12 school year.  Intramurals are held on Mon, Tues., and Wed., afternoons from 3:20-4:20.  Students must have a permission slip signed which will give them permission to come for the whole year.  They can come on one or two of the days, and must sign up in class for each individual unit.  They are expected to attend all sessions of the unit they sign up for.  Units change about every month, and students can elect to not participate in the next session, or change their days.  They are not automatically continued for the next unit, and must sign up again in class.  Call if you have questions.
