I hope you are all enjoying your summer!

I am very excited about becoming a Second Grade Teacher this year.  We have a wonderful curriculum and activities planned.  It should be a great experience for everyone!

Although summer is a time of fun and relaxation, it's also important to keep reading and math skills sharp!  Take some time to relax with a good book each day and work with parents on addition and subtraction fast facts.  The site below is a good resource to help you!

The teacher work days prior to school starting are very busy with setting up classrooms and meetings.  I would like to carve some time out to open the classroom for folks who would like to drop off supplies before school starting.  My classroom (111) will be open on September 1st from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for anyone that would like to drop things off!  If you are unable to make that time please hold on to things and send them the first day of school!
