Welcome to the KEEP Website KINDERGARTEN EXTENDED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM Purpose: This program is designed for Kindergarten students who would benefit from additional academic support. KEEP provides an additional HOUR of instruction for selected Kindergarten students. Children's participation in the program is based upon specific criteria including teacher observation and the results of Kindergarten assessment. The selection process for KEEP will identify children whose needs will be best served by this program. Assessment times are September/October and January. Students may enter and exit KEEP at these points. Instruction is provided by a reading specialist, consultant teacher, speech/language teacher, and paraprofessional in collaboration with the Kindergarten teachers.
