Budget Hearing
The Public Hearing on the proposed 2025-26 Budget is being held at 6:30 pm Tuesday, May 6th in the Penfield High School Cafeteria prior to the regularly scheduled Board meeting. Residents may attend in person or watch the livestream on Penfield Television to learn more about the proposed budget.
Board of Education Candidates
There are six candidates running for three seats on the Board of Education. They are: James Ashby, Nate Chenenko, Susan Gilbert-Collins, Dr. Sarah Pace, Dr. Emily Roberts and Dr. Scott Wilson. Absentee and Early Voter Ballots Available
Applications for absentee and early voter ballots are available as of Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from the District Clerk between the hours of 8 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, at the District Office, 2590 Atlantic Ave, by calling 585-249-5744, or by downloading it here: Absentee Ballot Application. Completed applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven days prior to the vote, if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the vote, if the voter is picking up the ballot in person. Absentee and early voter ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
New Voting Machines
Please note that the Monroe County Board of Elections is implementing new touchscreen voting machines for all elections, including the School Budget Vote and Board Election.
