Cultural Event Celebrates Black History Month
The Project LEAD committee at Indian Landing Elementary School is hosting the Penfield Black History Month Celebration of the Arts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, in the school cafeteria.
The event will feature dancers from the Hochstein School, African drummer Mayukwa Kashiwa, members of the Penfield High School Black Student Union, and more.
Guests should park in the lot behind the building and enter Door 10B, directly into the cafeteria. Families who may require special accommodations can email Principal Marcie Ware at mware@penfield.edu or call (585) 249-6905.
