More than 50 Penfield students who are members of the Urban-Suburban Program, were recognized during the annual Recognition Night. The evening celebrated six graduating seniors, including Shakiela Blake and Zion Dukes, who were recipients of the Urban-Suburban Scholarship Award. The event also honored 47 Penfield students for academic excellence.

Additionally, Maycanitza Perez, Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services, was honored with the Slugger Award, given to individuals who demonstrate dedication and commitment to the program.
