Families Invited to Learn, Share, and Connect at Desserts & Discussion

Penfield families are invited to the Superintendent’s Desserts & Discussion, an evening of open dialogue and community connection. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, at the Penfield High School Commons.
At this special edition of the Superintendent’s Conversation Series, families can learn about the work unfolding across Penfield schools and help guide what comes next. Featured topics for the evening include:
- Strategic Plan in Action: See how Penfield’s vision for teaching, learning, and student success is supporting NY Inspires and the Portrait of a Graduate to propel students forward.
- Community Schools (Year Zero): Learn about the foundational planning year, centered on building whole-child support, expanding opportunities, and deepening school and family partnerships.
- Artificial Intelligence Steering Committee: Discover how the AI Steering Committee is approaching emerging technology, responsible digital citizenship, and future-focused learning in classrooms.
- Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS): Understand how Penfield proactively identify student needs and personalize academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth for every learner.
