Kindergarten Registration
Children who will be five by December 1, 2026, are eligible to register for Kindergarten for the upcoming school year. If your family is not registered in our census, please contact our District Registrar at 249-5729, or at kdarling@penfield.edu to ensure you receive registration information.
Whether you are continuing on from PreK or are new to the District, we welcome you!
Step 1: Please download and complete each form. Once completed, save each form to your device. You will be prompted to upload each form during the online registration process.

You will also need to provide the following information during registration:

Parent information - addresses, email addresses, and important phone numbers.

Student information - demographic and health/medication information.

Emergency contact information - names, addresses, and phone numbers.

Doctor information - name, address, phone number, and fax number.

Medical information - Applicable conditions and medications.
Step 2: The following documents are required to register for Kindergarten. Please gather and scan to your device, so that you may upload when prompted.

Your current lease, mortgage statement, deed, or school tax receipt is preferred. Full-page documents are needed; please do not submit partial documents or envelopes.

Purchase of a new house: Submit your closing statement.

The District requires birth verification for each student you are registering. If you need assistance, please contact the District Registrar at 249-5729.

To register for school, the District requires current physical and immunization records. If your child has an exam scheduled before the first day of school, please provide the updated reports to the school nurse as soon as they are available. Please note that all required vaccinations must be documented before your child may begin classes.
