More than 1,000 students at Penfield High School, about 70 percent of all students, earned accolades for their academic success in the fourth quarter.

Welcome to Bay Trail Middle School
Bay Trail Middle School, located in Penfield, a suburb of Rochester, NY, offers a unique learning experience for students in grades 6-8. The Bay Trail Middle School mission, in partnership with parents and the community, is to help students transition from elementary school to high school by providing a safe environment that adapts to each student’s unique, young adolescent needs. We do this to equip students with the skills and character traits that will enable them to become contributing members of the community. Students benefit from the school's learner-centered focus which seeks to help all students reach their academic potential through differentiated instruction. In addition to a wide variety of academic programs, Bay Trail offers students numerous opportunities in the arts, athletics and extracurricular activities.

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle named Penfield High School student-athlete AJ Theodorakakos as the Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year in its list of All-Greater Rochester Spring Teams.
